fav niche little headcanon is that basilio becomes the self proclaimed grandparent to any kid olivia or lonqu has. like he RAISED those two (he didnt but he’ll take credit for it) hes GONNA get grandkids one way or another. fav thing ever is olivia!lucina recontexualizing the scene where lucina begs basilio not to go fight walhart because he literally helped raised her he was the best patty cake player on the entire continent… that is HER GRANDFATHER and he is GOING TO DIE like omfg. i know im pretty deep into the tharjabelle train on this blog but there was a time where i was super into lonqu/tharja (i still REALLY like them i just ended up liking tharja yuri better sue me) and basilio and noire was like. the cutest combo ever. yes this IS my coward little granddaughter but make her mad and she could rival all of ferox’s greatest warriors. he loves her so much

3. How did you choose their name?

names are always such a procedure for me because i usually want them to mean something fitting to my ocs character (i always start picking their names once i got an idea who my character is) also im super picky.apparently, elira means “free” and since elira is a circle mage, i thought… well ((((((:

5. Is there any significance behind their hair color?

nerida got white hair, but mainly she had to have white hair since i wanted her to be a snow elf (and the only 2 living snow elves we see in the game had white hair, so i guessed it should be a thing.) but it does fit and symbolises her whole “im very old and wise” type of thing, so!!! her hair colour has a lot of significance if i wanted to give it one,,,,,

10. If they have an LI, how much of their character is tailored to be compatible to that person?

literally nothing because i knew nothing about mass effect or their characters and i fleshed out her character before i started playing, like i went to the wiki to read up on the different classes and pychological profiles and stuff, i got pretty fascinated about the whole biotics thing so i researched a bit about that, too (i was in the mood and i wasnt able to start it when i wanted to so thats how i spend my time ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ) i only wanted to romance kaidan because he looked cute on pictures and then BAM. perfect match. it was amazing

16. What is something about your OC that can make you cry?

that she always stays brave and optimistic no matter what happens and that she’ll always believe in the good in people even after everything she went through .. and that she still loves solas with all her heart and will do everything in her power to at least talk to him again in da4…… :’‘/////

in my mind lyra is not really the most pleasant of companies, pretty mean and cocky at times and definitely not really in the mood to be a pathfinder and stuff. but the game doesnt canonically give me any option to play her like that which was a bit annoying at the beginning. that doesnt mean that i really regret adding those traits to her though, i just headcanoned more while playing lol

She just wants everyone to fucking stop like she supports the mages goal and she understands because she was a circle mage herself and shes seen some Shit you know but she doesnt support how some of them are acting like getting innocent people caught up in their war and she’s seen the destruction it’s all caused But in general she’s on the mages side

9. who is their love interest, if they chose one? do you ship them with anyone else/non-romanceable options?

Cullen lol they have a really good dynamic and they get along and understand each other really well and are good support systems for each other and I just love them together a lot

Omg I ship her (before u know…the death part) with my other oc Lillie I mean nothing ever ended up happening while they knew each other but I feel like if stuff went differently they would’ve been good together which is really painful because of how everything went down in the end

I also kind of ship her with Solas or I guess just have a headcanon that they had like weird super buried feelings for each other because i love angst and death

12. how do they feel about the qun?

Nika is one of her best friends so everything she heard about it initially was negative because of nikas own feelings about the qun nowShe thinks that some of the practices under the qun like the re-educators stuff like that is really disgusting and she thinks that people should be able to choose what they want to believe soBasically if someone wants to follow the qun then go ahead she just doesnt agree with some of the stuff that goes on

15. did they choose the qun or the chargers in iron bull’s personal quest? why?

The chargers because bull is one of her closest friends and she was thinking more about what he would want rather than what was better for the Inquisition as a whole because none of it would matter if the people that were closest to her had to give up things and people they loved just for some political gain also she loves the chargers too 18. upon first meeting cole, were they afraid of him?

Nope, she felt warm and like protective of him almost immediately and she desperately tried to get everyone else to try to understand him better

21. someone is encroaching on their love interest. how do they respond?

Honestly if someone was just flirting with him she’d just stare them down with the angriest face she could manage and then if things start going to far she’d just walk up and like put herself between them and be like “o hey babe whats goin on whos this :)”

The idea of it scares her bc she grew up in a circle thats kind of been ingrained into her but she thinks if mages were using it as a tool to help improve themselves overall rather than like a weapon for manipulation and other crazy shit then she’d be fine with itI couldn’t see her using it herself 

27. as a whole, how do they feel about tevinter + the imperium?

She thinks their practices of human sacrifice and slavery and their entire power system is super disgusting theres literally nothing about it she’s okay withDorian is her like #1 best friend like she loves him so much and the only thing they argue about is stuff about tevinter

Definitely an optimist she always thinks things can work out for the best if you keep trying

Failure I think is the main thing like she’s terrified of like losing or letting people down or trying really hard and everything falling apart anyways because shes the type of person who tries really hard at everything she does
